My husband and I have one daughter already. She is 16 months and is a very good, easy going baby. I am currently in school full time and my husband works full time while attending classes on the side online. He makes pretty good money and we could afford another baby if we cut back on eating out and spending extra money here and there. In other words, we are thinking finances will be okay. We own both of our cars and just recently purchased a home. We may have to adjust but it will work out. Anyways, I have one semester left of prerequisites before enrolling into a 3 year nursing clinical rotation. This will be part time for the most part. I have already finished several of the required classroom classes. I have heard the school I attend has a bit of a demanding program, however, since I am not working, I think I will be able to meet the qualifications while balancing 2 kids. We want another baby so bad. I am still young so fertility time clock is not ticking, we would just like to have 2 kids close together now, and then 2 more in 3-4 years. I want my children to have one sibling that is close to them. I am really having a hard time with this right now. I want another, but I dont want to sacrifice my dream of becoming a nurse. My first pregnancy was difficult. I was sick most of the time, sick to where I could not function too well. I am not trying to sound selfish, its not that a baby would keep me from fulfilling my dream, I just want to be able to have my dream job of becoming a nurse and taking care of my family financially.
What is your advice? Anything is welcome! I'm stuck in the middle right now. My husband is fine with going either way. He says he is willing to take a semester or two off to get another part time job if needed!
HELP PLEASE! Anyone in the same situation?

I have been unemployed for a while, and I have no definite idea about where I want my life to lead.
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and have followed that with a degree, and now I am planning to train as a teaching assistant/ classroom assistant in a primary school and maybe (depending how things go) in a secondary school.
I have an 'interview' tomorrow for a voluntary position in a school, and although my qualifications are loosely related I don't know how I would answer the above questions, I don't want the Headteacher to throw me out!!
Generally I like helping people in small groups and individually...and....
Any buzz words would be great too
Thanks in expectation

Of course verything looks better the way it is on word, so which one, should I make changes?
I'm 15. Next year I'll be doing my GCSEs and it's basically going to be the start of my adult life. I've decided that this next year, I'm going to work so hard, and achieve all the goals and grades I want to, and I don't really care if that means sacrificing my social life for a while. Isn't it better to have a year of working hard, then when I'm uni I'll meet people there, and get married and be rich, as opposed to have loads of friends now, but stay poor and sad for the rest of life?
There's one problem though.. none of my close friends want to do this. They all tell me that I should enjoy the last year of school, because we're going to be 16, and it will be the last time we're together. They also tell me that I don't need excellent grades, because the more people you know, the more opportunities you'll get because you're friends with people.
I really don't agree with this, and I have my whole life planned. I want to go to sixth form, uni, become a paediatric nurse with lots of qualifications, meet a doctor, marry him, get a lovely big house, have kids, die a happy woman.
So.. what do I do? Please my friends, or prepare my future?
And can you give me advice as well? Ways to become more enthusiastic? Words of encouragement? Motivating stories?
Thanks :) I'll thumbs up EVERY answer (unless you're out to get me) and 10 points the best one :)
Thank you :) x
why is no one glad that I'm working rather than living off people's well earned tax money? and I'm 100% sure what I want to do in life..
I was born and raised in London, England and when i was 14 my family and i moved to the Philippines. In 2008 i graduated with a B.S. in Nursing, i didn't take the board exam for a philippines license and moved back to the U.K.. I had my Transcripts translated by UK NARIC and it was concluded that my degree " is considered comparable to BTEC/ SQA higher National Diploma standard/ Foundation degree standard... falls on the same level of the National Qualifications Framework as N/SVQ level 4". I also took an ielts exam and was required by the NMC (nursing and midwifery council) to get a score of 7, i got an 8.5.
Am i now eligible to apply for an adaptation program and thereafter get my PIN number to become a registered nurse in the U.K.? What is the cost of the adaptation program?
I highly appreciate the positive feedback that i will receive, thank you.
im 17 years old and i want to get straight into midwifery but i don't know if i have the qualifications to do so. is there any way to become a midwife without having to become a nurse first?
What qualifications do I need to become a nurse at Club Med? What is it like to work there?
A carer in a residential or nursing home
Hi
I've applied to study a BSc Biology degree this coming academic year with a veiw to working with animals. However I've recently begun to consider the option of not going to uni.
The other options are just try and go staright into a job or study a part time degree or vocational qualification such as an NVQ.
So I'd just like to know what options I have for jobs working with animals (preferably wild animals or dogs!) without a degree or working whilst studying.
If you'd be able to give me an idea of what the job entails, what my prospects are later on in the job and (if possible) a rough estimate of salary.
Finally I've also looked into studying to be a vet nurse as i know there are ways to get into that other than doing a BSc degree, could anyone give me any advice on this job or qualifications needed?
this year i am starting my second year of sixth form and after a get my A2 qualifications i am seriously considering joining the RAF , my courses are chemistry, biology, psychology and photography if that helps at all.
i want to go into nursing and was wondering if anyone has any personal experience of going to university to become a qualified nurse and then joining the RAF, or going straight into the RAF and train for three years to be a nurse whilst already part of the RAF.
Basically what im asking is what are people personal experiences if you joined the RAF via these two routes and which would you recommend.
Also with my A2 qualifications what other jobs could i do in the RAF?
many thanks
Do you guys happen to know what the qualifications would be for someone who wanted to teach Nursing?I live in the state of IL and i looked everywhere, but haven't found anything that can help me yet. I"m going to a voc. institute to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and so far we have had 9 teachers quit and be fired. My school hires nurses with no experience in teaching and even nursing from Craigs list and some of them worry me...Anyway, the one that we have now is by far the worst.First we thought she was different but I've come to a conclusion the woman is an idiot. The problem is that she has a BSN and i pray to god this is not enough for her to teach LPN's.Does she need to have MSN? or wouldn't she need some sort of a certification to teach nursing? Does she need to be a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE)? And also where can i check if her license is valid?
What courses and qualifications would I need to get?
i live in scotland and want to know what qualifications i need to become a nurse in the states
What is wrong with my confidence and how can I change the situation?
(PLEASE READ EVERY DETAIL OF MY STORY, THANK YOU)I want to fit in in the world because I have a small learning disability and want to be normal so I expect people to like me because I have a great kind nature towards the world, people and nature and was told that causes you to be likeable and my family say I am very likeable, so when people don't like me, I begin to doubt my personality and try to figure out what flaws or charecteristics they don't like in me if they don't want to be friends with me and I do, if they agree to be friends and then break our friendship because they are too busy but they can make time for my big sister who daily likes to get high daily and drinks occassionaly,if someone criticises me including my family or I don't like their opinion I become very defensive or feel defensive but say nothing & maybe loose faith in the joy of life and self-control, I am told I can't be independant or that I don't know my own needs and I should know the basics, I envy people who have high or mainstream qualifications, good sense of direction, can travel by themslelves and get careers in another country, rent a flat, are street wise and have lots of friends and a few close friends to hang out with who they are comfortable and confident around. I become defensive when my family have a different view on me wearing high-heals because I am 5foot 6 or 7 in height but I find them a challenge for walking properly and I feel confident and more like a woman coz I envy women who can freely wear hig-heals and not care what people think and wear them regardless, I want to wear them with a dress or skirt because they make me feel like a lady, feminine and sexy and it is a personal fantasy costume of mine, If I wear a mini skirt it is called slutish or tartish but it makes me feel confident, sexy, carefree & I can see my nice body shape but I do worry that it will give men the wrong impression so I don't wear them out for that reason and to keep my mum content because she worries alot about my personal image and if she doesn't like the clothes I wear or being in high-heals I feel bad and I take them off & think of all the lucky women who dress the way they want and my self-esteem coz low especially when a guy complains about me texting too much but guy did and that was noel mentioned on the relationships category. If I have a career dream in mind or an idea and I get excited about it but when I tell my family, they tell me to be reasonable and not to go beyond limits even though some books say it's important to go a bit beyond your limits to challenge you and something good might come out of it. I am 22 and I want to be my own person and be unique but their are things which other people possess that I want such as confidence in dressing up and ignoring criticism, more laid back and worry for little, have lost of good friends as well as a few close ones, done their junior cert & leaving cert and went to colledge, traveled, lived by themselves because of where the colledge is located, don't care what people think of them, like wearing high-heals or minie skirts, work as a veternary nurse, teach, are psychologists, therapists, novelists, singers, in a band, acters or councilers etc. I blame my disability & education for most of them. What do ye think? How bad is my self-esteem? help.......... wb

What qualifications do you need to become a nurse, I have useless ones like ICT, Graphics, English and Welsh I was never good at science and maths and Im sure you need these to be a nurse lol. So do I stand even a little bit of a chance? lol
I work in the financial sector... I started to train as a veterinary nurse while doing my A levels but had to give it up as I needed a job to pay the mortgage. That was a few years ago and I am yearning to go back to my original passion. The thing is I still need to work while I study. I understand there will be practical parts to the course that perhaps I can do at the weekends. The study part though I was hoping to do at home in the evenings and weekends. Then when qualified I can leave where I am. The money wont be the same I know but I dont mind. I need to study qualification that is recognised in the UK.
Thanks guys...as always. xxxx
but the courses to study are rather expensive, does anyone know what help you can get to study and which qualifications would greatly benefit me? Thanks!!
any details anyone could give about becoming a veterinarian, volunterring, animal work

3. What is the best way to go about getting qualifications for counselling? I live in Sydney, Australia though.

I have recently researched on this and saw on some websites that the qualification required for this is simply GCSE's A-C and you would get trained in the dentist area to work my way up however you need to do this FULL TIME for 2 YEARS and you will get trained to become one, however il rather do the subjects in sixth form and then go to universty! as i really dont want to miss out on it! and im sure i can gain better qualifications to do it that way! and then later get a better position in a job with a degree! hopefully its not BIOLOGY, CHRMISTY ETC because i know to be DENTIST you would require those as! but i was woundering if picking science or PSYCOLOGY wud help! and then which course would i need to pick for UNI to lead me into that?
PLEASE HELP!!!!!! ASAP!!!!!
by the way this is my second year in SIXTH form and i am planning to stay a year back to do these SUBJECTS to have a dental nurse career!!!!!
Thankyou!

2 grade A*

hi want to become an auxiliary nurse whilst i am at college what do i need to become one in a qualification way? thanks x
im currently working in a care home, as was wanting to go to university to study adult nursing next year. However, i think working in the care home has put me off nursing and the shifts have put me off aswell. Ive always loved animals but I dont have enough qualifications to be a vet.
I was wondering, how could I be a vets nurse? Is it different to a trainee/vaulenteer? Or would I be an assistant? I have no idea where to start off first. What kind of training is there? e.g university.. And what is the pay like?
I think the answer to this is no, but if you became a vets nurse...could you then train to be a vet even if you didnt have high enough grades from school?
Please write back, thanks
